Sam Green-Armytage

SGA Operations Officer, The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland

As the Operations Officer for the Sports Governance Academy, Sam is responsible for the delivery of its service, knowledge base, events, and training courses.

Sam has a Masters in Sports Business & Leadership from Loughborough University with a wide knowledge and interest in Sporting Policy & Problems.

Sam plays hockey and cricket most weekends and is also a fan of football, rugby, American football and baseball. He has played cricket for his local club, Long Itchington CC for 15 years and continues to play to this day. Sam is a great advocate for sport as a force for good and along with playing he also coaches in his community. Sam believes that good governance is a key component in promoting the accessibility of sport as wide as possible to maximise the inherent benefits to people of all backgrounds.
