Jessica Melling
Head of Governance and Compliance, British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS)
Jess started her career in governance at the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity and is now the Head of Governance and Compliance at British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) where she is responsible for the team who leads the development and management of the rules and regulations for BUCS competitions, as well as the organisation's compliance with A Code for Sports Governance and the Charity Governance Code.
A key area of focus for Jess since joining BUCS has been to improve organisational compliance with A Code for Sports Governance, working to digitise the governance functions to promote robust and sustainable ways of working and improve compliance across the business.
