Sarah has a Governance, Strategy, Business Change and Business Operations background with extensive public and private sector experience both in the UK and overseas, including sporting, military, utilities, and government institutions.
Highlights have included advising a variety of major Boards and management teams, the creation of multiple significant reports and policies, managing an extended safeguarding review response, the leadership & management of teams of up to 216 people. During this, sport and sport leadership have been a significant part of Sarah's life from being the Sports Council president of a major university containing multiple colleges and over 60,000 students, to her current role.
Sarah now leads, manages and delivers the wide-ranging UK Coaching's corporate governance function that includes risk, audit and governance across the organisation; regulatory/code compliance across the Code for Sports Governance, FCA, Charity Commission and Companies House; business continuity, cyber security and data protection as well as helping develop strategic & operational plans and being part of the Safeguarding group.
