Joie is a former Team GB and England hockey player and was part of the Gold medal winning squad at the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. Since leaving international hockey, Joie has built a career in sports sustainability.

Joie is a former Team GB and England hockey player and was part of the Gold medal winning squad at the Rio Olympic Games in 2016. Since leaving international hockey, Joie has built a career in sports sustainability. Having previously driven sustainability operations at the 2018 Hockey World Cup and the 2019 Netball World Cup, she is currently Sustainability Coordinator at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Joie is member of the BASIS Management Board.
