Effective Chairing Skills

Next course
Aimed at organisation chairs, this one-day course develops the core chairing skills of confidence, assertiveness and time management. Participants will be equipped with a framework for effective leadership, approaches for improving boardroom participation, managing difficult situations and overcoming barriers to good decision making.
You will develop:
- all the core skills essential for quality chairs: confidence, assertiveness, time-management
- a framework to show effective leadership and get the most from your meetings
- the ability to improve group participation and improve your personal impact
- the self-confidence to manage difficult situations and overcome barriers to good decision making
You will receive:
- a delegate pack containing notes and presentation slides
- a certificate of attendance
- six hours CPD, accredited by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity

Rob is a management training and development consultant and a member of the Chartered Governance Institute.
Through TMF Training he specialises in the design and delivery of a range of management workshops, seminars and training courses tailored to the needs of both large corporations and small businesses. Philip’s training style is highly participative and interactive; his delivery is thought provoking and challenging.
