Effective Chairing Skills

Aimed at organisation chairs, this one-day course develops the core chairing skills of confidence, assertiveness and time management. Participants will be equipped with a framework for effective leadership, approaches for improving boardroom participation, managing difficult situations and overcoming barriers to good decision making.

Aimed at organisation chairs, this one-day course develops the core chairing skills of confidence, assertiveness and time management. Participants will be equipped with a framework for effective leadership, approaches for improving boardroom participation, managing difficult situations and overcoming barriers to good decision making.

You will develop:

  • all the core skills essential for quality chairs: confidence, assertiveness, time-management
  • a framework to show effective leadership and get the most from your meetings
  • the ability to improve group participation and improve your personal impact
  • the self-confidence to manage difficult situations and overcome barriers to good decision making

You will receive:

  • a delegate pack containing notes and presentation slides
  • a certificate of attendance
